Casual snap of me in the streets of Paris 🗼🥐🍷. Well at least that is what I imagined it would be like when I finally made it there, this overly romanticised slice of culinary paradise, with me going full Julia Child on that town. But it wasn't.

Last week I got to travel with my mum, for a wintery (freezing) trip to the rainy city of love. (Swipe for our authentic experience ➡️.)It poured, I froze, I currently have the sniffles thanks to it and ate more carbs than I have ever had in a space of 3 days (loved it!) and even though I didn't get the idilic trip I had always imagined, things turned out far better 🥐😍🐶☕.

We followed recommendations I'd been saving over the years and @milkkarten trip, which was golden. Every spot I shared in my stories (see highlights) is a massive recommendation, if you ever get the chance to go, no matter the time of year. I learnt so much and really got to reconnect with the beauty that classic and modern french cuisine has to offer ☺️🙌.

For now I'm just going to leave these pretty pictures of a recipe I did a few months back in london. It's for a quick soda bread (tastes like farm seed loaf 🤤). I lightly toast it and top with fresh fruit and a BAD ASS (budget friendly) home made cashew butter made in my VERY shitty food processor in London 😅.
