Creamy Avo and Basil Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

– 1/2 ripe avocado, skin and pip removed
– 10g fresh basil leaves
– 1/2 lemon, zest
– 2 Tbsp lemon juice
– 1/2 – 1 cup water
– salt
– pepper
– cooked spaghetti/pasta for 2
– nutritional yeast, to sprinkle over

Method

1. Place all ingredient into the jug blender and blend until smooth and of a sauce consistency (add more water if necessary).
2. Fold the sauce into either hot or a cooled pasta, sprinkle with nutritional yeast and serve hot or cold.
